Been to Silverstone today and yesterday, and were going to the race tomorrow. I had never been to Formula one before, and I have never been a massive F1 fan, but I strongly suggest anyone who has any interest in cars goes next year.

Absolutely awesome.... I can not explain how much better it is to see the race in the flesh rather than on T.V

The fecking noise thoes things make is untrue. Watching an F1 car go through copse and Beckets is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life... The lines they are on at over 170mph are untrue. Seing someone going backwards past us at the end of the pit straight was pretty exciting as well.

We got the cheapest tickets you can get and we have had awesome views all weekend.. I had no idea how close to the track you can get, and how many great viewing areas there are.

I can only say good things about silverstone. Great stewards, good lager, Food was good if you could get a mortgage for it. Even more incredible is the fact we havnt seen a traffic jam all weekend yet.

You may have noticed I have enjoyed it so far.....can not wait for the race tomorrow.

Heres loads of pics-- These were taken on a tiny sony cybershot with no zoom so i am amazed you can make out anything in them... Its hard taking pictures of a 200mph target with sun glasses on and no viewfinder.

£100 -- Bronze pass.

On satarday and sunday it allows you to go on all the unreserved banking all round the track-- You can get loads of great views from these areas.

On Friday it was free roam so you can go wherever you want-- including all the grandstands.

Bronze pass also gives you a car parking space for free for the weekend

sounds like an attempt to bring chavs closer to the cars tbh, next we'l see Schumacher lifting up the rear wing whilst it burns out popping off the limiter

or someone trying to pop flames out the back of there Sauber

The car is only out there for about 1 minute due to the cars having no fans and relying on forward motion. It literally goes up and down twicw with a little spin at each end.... And i didnt really see any chavs all day-- was a great atmosphere all round the track... footy was good on the big screens as well

traffic is really good now, well planned.

GP2 was a good race today, grand prix, may be boring to watch on telly but the atmosphere at the race is fantastic! loved it!

Race was so fucking boring

Atmosphere would have been the only good thing

this is the only reason i dont want to work in F1 because i only have a passion for close racing with overtaking

I've just got back from working there - never been to Formula One before. All i can say is the noise the cars make is unbeliavable. Far louder than you'd imagine on the telly.
Was working in the top hospitality section £1500 a ticket for all you can drink and top notch food. Schumacher stroleld through as did Murray Walker. Axl Rose from Guns n Roses was there all day. And most amsuing was Tiff Nedell, who got increasingly steaming as the day went on, his eyes were all over the place at the end. Legend.

All in all a good day, think I might go as a spectator next year.
