To what extent are you thinking???
I bought a run down flat & stuck roughly +20k value on it within a year of tidying it up & replacing tired facilities/decor!! I consider that very small scale though.
Basically you need to have the money to put in it to begin with to even consider a project. Also its alot of hard work though, to make it worth while you have to wire into as much as you can which gets irritating after a while!! Mates are off down the pub on a nice sunny day while your covered in sweat, plaster & general shit doing up 'that bastard house' as it will soon be known!! I done well out of my own wee project but dont thinbk id do it again for a while at least!!

Yeah I would but not in a hurry if you know what I mean!!! You might aswell forget about any hobbies, social life, girlfriend etc while your doing it!!

since i left school and stuff i've always had a fancy to it. my current manager does it on the side and he said it's worth while after your first house, he's doing well out of it. obv if your good at it then it's worth while.
but i want to look more into it before i shot myself in the deep end.
