on my airbox there is a random red wire
were does it og??
i have in my head its something to do wit temp but im unsure

I think i know what you mean, when the airbox is in place is it on the right of the engine?

Well the right side of the airbox, left side in the engine bay obviously.

i dont have this one mine, mine is 1.4 16 though...maybe the difference

its a hollow vaccuum pipe tas
it controlls the hot air gate within the airbox
there is a small connector piece located on the bottom right of the airbox, as you look at it in the engine bay
the vaccuum pipe plugs into there

i dont think its a hollow vaccuum pipe mate its a thin red wire
at the top right of the picture
