I think today showed that we aren't good enough to win the world cup.

We aren't as good as Argentina, Brazil and co.

I would also like to say that I thought Hargreaves was awesome today, although he might not have played great (did ok don't get me wrong) I thought his work rate was second to none and really had that bull dog spirit, if Gerrard and Lampard done the same then I would of been happy.

Hargreaves today really has gone up in my books.

However Sven IMO has totally shocked me with his crap tactics and his decision to take Walcott when today we REALLY needed bent upfront.

I would like to thanks Joe Cole, Ashley Cole and Hargreaves who I thought all gave 110%

Well Done lads

Totally agree with you about Owen H and Ashley Cole - work rate was second to none.

Joe Cole played well aswell.

This years WC is up for grabs and England could have taken it!!!!!! Just not good enough as a team

We were done by a team full of gimps that like to roll around on the floor too often. That "tackle" by Rooney would have never seen a Red Card in a Premiership game, wasn't even worthy of a yellow IMO

Hope Ronaldo get kicked to fuck next season, which ever league he may be playing in

Rooney's sending off was extremely debatable IMO although i've had loads to drink... i still think this was a decisive moment in the game. totally gutted, really thought we could do well this time around !!!

Rooneys red card wasn't deserved imo, he was fouled at least twice in the seconds before his sending iff - they were kicking through him trying to get the ball, arms all over him yet the ref did nothing about it, and fucking C Ronaldo running over to the ref to complain - got fuck all to do with him and just goes to prove why he is the shining light for everything I HATE about the modern game, everything about how he plays and the way he goes about it just turns my stomach.

Hargreaves was totally immense tonight and throughout this WC he has probably been one of Englands most solid performers, he has done himself the world of good these past couple of weeks.

Gerrard and Lampard as well as a few others have under performed this world cup.

I disagree with you Greg... as a team perhaps you are right but individually we are easily one of the best sides in the world... we just don't play as a team sometimes

Individually I agree, but I hate to say it we are like Real Madrid...... Superb players on paper but can't play as a team.

Tes this is the case...so you have to say its down to the manager for failing to get these players playing well together with shite tactics and squad selections etc...
