inlet manifold looks bit dif..
Did vaux change the Z18XE and make it into a twinport like the other Z engines??
Z12XE and Z14XE both twinports now

nah, the old sri's are z18xe
the MY2004 and a half onwards are z18xep's
hence the different looking engine cover

Vauxhall here have ALWAYS quoted this as 123bhp.
VVT didnt come in until 2005 anyhow.
Its ONLY just being used in the Vectra and Zafira.

Its not 140bhp, the Corsa has never had the 140bhp VVT engine fitted to it, if it had it would be quite a useful car.

yeap - only the 1.2 & 1.4 were upgraded to twinport. The 1.8 has always been the Z18XE.

whats all this chat about Z18XEP then. tomorrow when its light im going to get the engine code for you all, and try and figure out what it is exactly, but from my understanding of the numbers and letters on the block, its VVT version...
