hey,

right ive got just bought a 93 corsa with two JBL 6x9s (does that sound right?) in the back. the guy i bought it off said if i wanted to put a CD player in, the speakers were already wired up and ready.

so does this mean there's an amp in there somewhere too, and if not am i gonna have to buy one?

no and no there prob wire up from the rear speaker wires so thay would run off the head unit (stereo)

There won't be a amp in there nor will you have to buy one they should go straight to CD player.

Yes there is an amp. The amp will be built into the headunit

all he has done is cut the speaker wires that go to the rear speakers, and has attached them to the 6x9s.
