But sometimes cyclists can cause a major problem on the road, was coming round a bend on a country road, and there was a cyclist in the middle of my lain on the road!! I had to go around him, which forced me into the path of a oncoming car!, give it that the car coming the other way was going far to fast.
Have any of you lot experienced this kind of thing?

Not a cyclist, but on the way home today from work, me and my boss saw a old man on his electric scooter in the opposite lanes driving towards traffic, also round the corner, almost got hit by a car

Yeah you have to wait until there is a space in the oncoming traffic. Then overtake the cyclist.

Why can't they just walk, it would produce less human perspiration pollution for the ozone layer.

Yeah like I said I don't have anything against them, because after all we all used to ride bikes anyways, but on a national speed road on a bend, it is a bit stupid to ride in the middle of it lol.

They have a right, but alot have no idea!
Running red lights, drifting into lanes, round corners with no indication!
had a bloody chav fly out of a road on me today literally 4 foot i missed him by.
They can't really be expected to take a test as a cyclist, but i don't know, they need to be taught some of the rules and dangers of the road because at the end of the day if they hit a car it will be them spread in 15 directions over the road and us tcutting the scrratch marks out at home

Try cycling to and from work for 3 years then see if your opinions change. Most vulnerable road users.

To be able to drive your car on the road, it must have a road worthy MOT? You have to buy tax to drive your car on the road, other wise it will be crushed, if not sorn and on the road, and we have to pay insurance?
Cyclists take up the road, are a danger in general when they make stupid decisions, forgetting there's over a tonne of steel moving next to them at 30 mph?
road tax is what money is used by the government to repair and maintain and create roads..

i love riding my bike on the road, flying down the wrong side of traffic jams, kicking the odd wing mirror, and just generally pissing everyone off. Its great fun.
