probably just being a complete retard here, but whenever i use the light, wether it be for torch style action, or as a flash, it wont stay on permanently, it just flashes repeatedly.

is there anything i can do? its impossible to take pictures in the dark, or use it as a light

on my w8000i you :

press up
goto light
you get option on off 1 minute or sos.
choose on

Can turn it on for either a 1 min or untill you turn it off on the W800

I had this same problem when I 1st got the phone don't know what I did but it seems to have stopped now

Possibly a firmware problem. Try a SEUS upgrade using the web service and data cable.

My firmware is RC4E012.

Augustborn has mentioned elsewhere in another thread that RC4K solves the flashing light problem but sadly it hasn't been released for O2 phones yet.

I'll just wait for it to be released on SEUS.

i've read through that whole thread, but im still non the wiser

what is SEUS and where do i find it?

i cant seem to update my firmware on the Sony Ericsson site, or on the Orange site
