midrange the SRi is quite a nippy little car.
I would say off the line upto 80mph there would be nothing in it what-so-ever!

SRi, mate had a Astra SXi with the same engine as the Corsa C SRi and it thrashed my GSi.

yea, my brothers 1.8 SRi is very quick, alot quicker than a standard GSi

1.8 sri easily. the corsa gsi in standard form is pretty lame.
my 1.8 sri is quicker than my mates 1.6 sport with mantzel etc...

my GSI used to beat the SRI but it was quite close, and i had more power than him, a standard one wouldnt stand a chance

Thats why we said standard. I know there isn't much tuning options for the SRi but I'm sure if someone also tuned one then it would be the same result.

corsa b gsi 0-60 9 secs
corsa c sri 1.8 0-60 8 secs so should easily win that...
and mid range and top end would be better in my eyes

i love my SRi, very nice mid range between 2500 and 5000rpm it pulls very strongly. find that the engine doesnt like going beyond 5000rpm, it seems happier shifting a little lower than 6000rpm. but yes it owns the 1.6 GSi/Sport
