How the hell do you guys motivate yourselves to go out and work on you car?

I really cant find any motivation to go and work on the mini, i go into the workshop and its all there in peices, looks as if we're getting no where, so end up doing very little.

I really cant wait for it to be done, on the road, really want to show it off, but that wont happen if i have zero motivation to finish it.....

I NEED HELP

I HATE working underneath cars, but the rest is ok, currently doing a headgasket on a modern vauxhall twinport engine and its a pain but interesting, so the learning is keeping me motivated, just weird things like electric thermostats and they have solid lifters so have to check valve clearances.

count yourself lucky you have a workshop.

I work on cars all day at work yet still seem to come home and work on cars or bikes at the weekend or evening.

Like said its just a matter of going and doing it, doesnt help it being winter though.
