hey guys. on my xe conversion the guys telling me that my speedo wont work now and i have to get a dial cluster from an sri or something with the older type cable driven speedo (i think this is rite).. neways around this?? dont want 1000 000 miles on my car

There are ways to adjust the mileage indicated on a set of clocks. Its only illegal if you do it to make a false impression when selling a car.

Stay honest and you'll be fine.

Change the mileage then take of picture of the sets of clocks with matching mileages

thats not my main worry? did nething one else with corsab have to chage their speedo??? never heard of this b4...

i never changed my speedo, just got the speddo sender from the gear box, chopped the end, chopped the end of my speedo cable, and matched the 3 coloured wires up. worked a treat.

i just screwed my 1.4 speedo sender straight onto the f20 box no cutting, rewiring, clock changing or anything!

the speedo sender i got, wasnt a cable driven one i';m sure, becuase i just had to cut 3 wires, (red blue and brown) i think.

theres loads of people with xe's so someone wil be able to conferm the answer.

The electric sender from my gearbox fitted straight onto the f20 box!
