When my engine is cold I can get all gears.

When it warms up I only have 3rd, 4th and 5th, 1st goes to were reverse should be.

Is this the gear linkage or does anyone know what it is

quite possibly the gear linkage then as i had the same problem 2 days ago, just needed adjusting

have a look at it first before buying a new linkage it may just need adjusting. yes its an easy enough job especially if you have a haynes manual to hand.

no worries mate, it will probably just need adjusting. if not u will need a new one which is about £45 from vauxhall
