its a 1994..
has 90k on clock
electric windows (work perectly)
electric mirrors (work perfectly)
really tidy sri interior
nice alloys (one scuffed others in pretty good nick)
good tyres
brand new spare wheel/tyre
bought it to fix and have as daily runner for when its wet and for times when too cold to ride motorbike, but cant afford to have both on the road
rust has started to appear on the boot...new bootlid go for cheap on here
the headgasket went....was told a few miles ago....usual signs..mayo oil, empty header etc.....ran great for the mile or too and stayed at 90 on the temp...till water ran out so towed it home....
been on ebay and can get head gasket kits for 20 quid....needs new breather pipe...(few quid)
oil has been flushed now, and flushed again with cheap oil...then good stuff filled up. EDIT....this aint true...was gonna do it but realised theres no point with a blown headgasket will throw the oil in the sale which i bought to do it
lookin for offers...these go for 7-800 quid in half decent nick...so 40 quid repairs and your laughin

bit expesive, only just worth that if it was okay, has to be a profit in it for someone, so £350 is all its worth - too far away for me tho.

i'd offer £200 collected in cash, given the condition of the car, age, regardless of the mileage
90k and a headgasket means its been ragged the tits off, the 1.4 8v's are usually bullet proof

cant comment on whether or not its been ragged....ran really smoothly though....headgasket will only be 40 quid to sort tops...
then this should sell for 600-850 plus shuldnt it?

350 here in manchester waiting for it would cost 40 just to get the head skimmed so think it would be a little more than u think to fix

How on earth you work out it to be £40 to fix I don’t know
Just done my 1.4 on the cheap and it cost me over £100.
TBO the car is worth about £100 - £200 tops
My m8 has just sold a minter with 60k on it for £500

TBH I hardly see it at £200 certainly no more. How much are you actually looking for? Do you have the rear wiper?

Can cost alot to get the head gasket done, lookina at £60 for the headset, headbolts, thermostat, cambelt oil and filter. you will have to get the head skimmed that costs around £40 - 80, it aint a cheap job. Plus a headbolt may snap with the age of the engine.

to be honest lads i don't think it's fair trying to badger him into lowering the price ( it should really be done via u2u ), if that's what he wants then let him carry on. good luck with the sale mate.
