I am wanting to remove the standard chrome plastic badging off my car boot and was wandering whether there is a secret method of getting them off without leaving any trace they were there before.....

Hair dryer and finger nails worked for me! White spirit to get the glue off afterwards then polish over.

you need to get a caramel wheel, its an attachment that goes in your drill and it rubs all the adhesive off of the paintwork but does not damage the paintwork, if you get one the gentler you are with it the better it works.

you motor factors or bodypanel suppliers should keep them in stock.

or you could take your time with a hait dryer and destroying your nails!!!!
