Dont you also need speicial ones to clear the GSi skirts a mate of mine had to order a set from Vauxhall and it cost an extorninate amount

I spoke to vauxhall just now, they said the ones on a 96 sri, so pre 97 and the ones on a 98 sport have the same part number.... there for they must be the same surely ?

look the same to me ? its the same on Mav's Gsi, he doesnt have Gsi rear ones he has post or pre 97 ones, the gsi mudflaps had a siler badge not white and were a crap fit cause i bought some .

gsi mudflaps aren't fitted around the shape of the bumper
the ones that vauxhall will sell u for a gsi u can buy anywhere at any motor store,
the reason being that fitted front ones were never made cos of the skirts, so neither were rear ones,
ask for sport ones or something, but its doubtful they'll have them

Yeah mine on rear were post 97 plastic, fronts were rubber ones.

they're not the same though, as the ones off the k reg (pre97 bumper) didnt fit the T reg (post97 bumper) as I've tried. It might work the other way round though, which is what you want to do.

They fitted well Rob...All I can say is they looked exactly the same as the ones on my post 97 1.6 sport...

they look the same but i bet they're not. the bit where it bolts onto the bottom of the bumper is in a different place, and the shape down the side is different. just you wait
