wont need to keep any sensors from the original engine. all you need is the fuel supply, carbs and the throttle linkage.

there is 2 options for the ignition, either a coil and dizzy set up or something like a lumenition electronic set up. you use a non amplified dispack and a crank sensor to determine engine speed.

I have a dizzy and a coil already, what does this mean? Seriously I still don't get the ignition engine managment side of things?

you need nothing else then, the dizzy and coil will still work, the ECU only controls the injectors on the C16SE

E16SE and yes you are correct about the ECU controlling the injectors.

So in theory this is a very easy job? The ignition would still work as it has a dizzy and a coil, but the wires connecting the module on the dizzy is all part of the engine loom? How do you solve this?

I wouldn't say it's easy. You can bolt it all together really easily as there isn't a lot to it. However, seting up a set of twin carbs is a cunt of a job to do. Though I would assume you'd pay to have it done at a rolling road to get the best setup possible. Then there's living with carbs

The problem is you need them to be balenced exactly. You don't want two cylinders to be running rich and two to be lean. Not good for the engine. If you ran a single carb then you could set it up yourself easily enough with a lambda probe But that would be a silly thing to fit to your engine

spark's done off the dissy which is run by the cam
