im buying a nova that has a 1.4 engine but the log book still says 1.0 how do i go about changing it, will it affect the insurance, ie. be more expensive compared to a car that was originally a 1.4?

if its a new style V5C, it'll have a section to alter the car details.

fill in the new engine number and CC in there, then send it off.

as for the insurance, it might be marginally more than a 1.4 Luxe would be, but probably not more than 1.4 SR would be for example.

its got the 1.4 sr engine in now, so would it practically be insured as this after ide sent it off for example
