I looked into this as i thought it was al a straight swap, but no it aint you need to get some welding done somewhere or something to do with the wings, what ever it was it put me off even tho had my heart set on it

i really havent looked in to this at all but at an educated guess it may need a new front panel, and the inner wings may need cutting and the tigra ones welding on.

i doubt it is rocket science. a decent bodyshop should do it for not that much money. especially if you can get the parts cheap and do some of the work yourself.

It's not a straight swap.

You need to put on the Tigra slam pannel. (weld)
You need to bolt on the bonnet.
You need to cut the front half of the wings off and weld them onto the Corsa wings, or fettle about with the wings a bit and make the entire wing fit onto the Corsa.
The front bumper is a straight swap.
The headlights bolt straight onto the new slam.

That's it. There is a lot more to it than you would think...

less than what i thought there would be to do there ed.

its not that bad of a job by what you have said there.

once the slam panel is on and the bumper and bonnet you have got a really good start there to lining everthing up properly.

I don't think you know how much work it would be just to prepare the wings.

i know where you are coming from with the wing prep.

it wouldnt take forever to smooth them in though, leave the rear of the corsa wing on and weld the tigra one in to some kind of position that is suitable enough to smooth in.

over all though it is possible with some time and effort and good thinking.

so would you have to take the corsa wing on and weld the tigra wing on, or could you weld the front of the tigra wing onto the corsa wing?? does anybody have any process pics?

It's up to you. If you leave the Corsa wing on your front and rear arches will match. If you use the whoe Tigra wing then you will need to get y our rear aches matched otherwise it will look silly.

No progress pics though I'm afraid. I think to pay somone to do it you will probably looking at near enough the £1k mark fully painted for a proper job becase as willhouse said it takes a fair ammount of time to jig everthing about to make it all work and match...

something else to be different to you could do
- flare the new tigra front wing you put on a bit then copy at rear of corsa to match with metal arches welded on and smoothed. could look good, especially with wide wheels and stretched tyres.

u wouldnt cut and join the wings. u put tigra flitch panels into ur corsa so the wing sits right

u need
tigra flitchs
wings
slam panel
lights
bumper

relatively easy to do altho as been said u need to blend out the swage line in the tigra wing and blend some rear archs into ur corsa 1/4s to look rite...

the tigra wings near the door is a different shape to the corsa wing near the door, so you will have to cut and join the wings
