I think mine cost £350, clifford cat 1 alarm thingy.
Guy came to my house to fit it on a saturday (from hoddesdon) and gave me my cert and stuff.
Didnt lower my insurance, cause i needed one for it to be valid in the first place.

sigma s30 cat 1 alarm and i fitted it myself. it didnt lower insurance cos i needed it to have the insurance in the first place

Alarm works, friendly guy, called him up once or twice with silly questions regarding why the alarm was acting up (cable slipped out from ariel in windscreen).
There is a feeling that its abit dodgy, because the premises he registers with is not actually owned/used by him much, its actually used by a firm who do performance tuning for modified/exotic cars (perfect touch). But his business is mobile so I guess thats why.
Would I use him again - yes.
