recently been lookin at the wolf racing asia-tec suzuka's, am going to buy from halfords, but they say that i should get et38 why are they saying this and will it effect anything or look any different from having et49?

ET49 is the best fitment IIRC.

yeah but what difference will it make if i get et38 cuz thats what they are saying

lower the et number the more the wheels stick out of the arches. they may rub on the rears.

so any idea why halfords are telling me to have et 38, is it easyer for them to fit or summit like that, i dont want my car to look like a buggy or summit

halfords are saying et38 because they are probably the only ones they have on the shelf. go to a proper alloy wheel shop for your wheels and tyres - not chav central halfords.

Id say no to ET38, i had them on my corsa, and i found after a while that the front wheels where rubbing on the track rods when i turned and actually started to wear them down.

mine is lowered 50mm on et45

but i changed from et38 to et42. Same problem I had from Halfords. They advised me on et38 and i made them change the wheels for et42 (thebest they could get)

didn't have trouble with et42 lowered 50mm even with 2 people at the back.
