Well, i've got a 1.2 Corsa B, P reg.

At around 4.5/5 thousand rpm a weird noice comes from the engine bay.. its like a hissing sound, doesn't do it @ any other time, and if u stick at the revs it just continues to do it.. go over it it stops..

This is really annoyin me at the min.. don't really know wots up with it..

Any ideas guys?

maybe someone snuck into your engine bay in the night and fit a really large turbo, with a nearly fully open wastegate

I wish.. its a 1.2, not that bothered atm.. i'm only 17.. cheap insurence u see..

Yeah its not cheap, and it doesnt get much cheaper either, im 19 on a 1.2 and its still ~900k
