The ones from Vaux are reconditioned and not actually brand new though are they?

They are called Re-manafactured marcus. Basically brand new but essentially rebuilt but to high standard apparently.

Well corsacant my advice would be to save at least £3.5k. Thats how much i roughly spent doing it, the more you spend the better it will be basically. Mine wasnt rebuilt but i had a good engine. The loom i had however was not. So spent a fair bi replacing sensors etc...

most dealers do this i think, says in handbook i can get another Vr6 lump anf box on exchange

i didnt do mine myself i got Lee mitchell to do it for a cost, so cant quote on ease of conversion. I am up for giving it ago myslef as i plan to do another,

as for handling not as bad as people say, its no worse than another corsa tbh, just understeered a tad more.

Depends on the setup you go for as to how it handles as well, this can make or brake it tbh, so choice of wheels/tyres ARB's, suspension, bushes etc etc
