I don't understand him letting carson particularly go out on loan. Dudek expressed the wish to leave, should've let him go an keep carson under his control (he only signed a new 4 yr contract pre-season i think).

Carson needs first team experience so let him leave. Kirkland is out there to put himself in the shop window and try and get some money back!
