As you may know I have a standard 1.0 12v W-reg GLS for getting to Uni and back. I have had a few friends with modified cars that have been vandalised in our area and at Uni, so I'm not even putting in 6x9's!
However, I realised that if I get some door speakers, the stereo will sound better but they won't be visible.
I just need to know what size they are? If I need any conversion plates to match up the holes (someone mentioned to me Vaux/Corsas are different) and any decent ones for the price. I am a student, so they'd be an Xmas present so can't be too expensive.
Also, are the tweeters worth doing?

Any idea of the specific name? Halfords tend to rip you off - I hate using it but eBay is much cheaper for bits like that!

why not build a custom parcel shelf out of mdf board, cut out two holes, put some 6by9's in then fit a black cloth material over and staple it underneath, looks realy good if done well and speakers are not visible for thieves! plus when you sell your car you can sell it with the origianl parcel shelf!
