Not got an XE but running a viper on mine

Could not locate air feed correctly so haven't used it and it sounds great and no loss in power

Must say it gets so hot in the engine bay to with the turbo so cannot complain

I bought my TB's 2nd hand Mine was over £1500 cos i got fully rebuilt bottom end and quite a high spec head, but it can be done for cheaper. Emerald ECU around £550, £250 for mapping...

whitter - you want a carbonio kit...it locates the filter seep in the bumper with a huge piece of carbon piping...i fitted one in work last week..awesome...

tried the airbox and wouldn't fit back on. So what do peeps reccomend then? I would like performance and a nice induction noise.

Try harder to get the airbox to fit! Looks the most factory.

viper sounds gr8, but my K&N filter used to ROAR!!!!!!! not noticed any performance gains with the viper but the low speed driving is alot smoother now. Put the Old K&N on my m8s xe corsa and cured the jerky low speed driving with a mome made heatshield. Old Tin of emulsion fitted perfectly and works a treat.

to keep things tidy tmy accelerator cable runs through the hole where the arbox used to sit.

so viper sounds good and stops the jerking at slow speeds but
a k & N with a heatshield sounds better and also stops the jerking.

which is better on performance then?

this is what i am going for, found it on their website, then going to make a nice new heatshield for it as well.


Hopefully be ready for rolling road.
