Right guys, thinking of doing a rear disc conversion. I have uprated brakes upfront but want to replace them with reyland 4 pots. Would the brakes i currently have on the fronts go on the rear or would i be best off just selling them on?
Cheers guys, Steve

well Im happy with my hispec 4pots. much better than my 2 litre setup I had. dont feel the need for any braking on the rear, I have actually disconnected my rear compensator as it feels much better with minimal rear braking.

would a decent 4 pot set up on the front and the standard 1.2 drums on the back be alright then do you think?
How much did you pay for your hispec ones Dave?

I bought them second hand but unused for about £500
I am now a hispec dealer and can do the 300mm billet 4 pot kit at 10% off retail prices (which I dont have to hand at the moment)
this kit is pretty good, never had them fade etc.. easy to control if you lock up as well, never had a problem stopping in time even when I have been really silly and left it until the last minute. easily underbrake most current modern hot hatches.
tbh, I havent even used them to their full potential yet

I wouldn't recomend a rear disk conversion. They make the back very twitchy under heavy braking! You are better off getting decent front brakes and being done with it
