Ok I bought this wiring kit to fit my sub, opened it and all I had was two cables a long red power cable and a wee earth cable... erm... should I not have more

no that sounds about right (goes and has a look at a spare autoleads kit)

if you look on the back of the box/packet theres a contents list

theres should be.

5m of red
1 of black
5m of blue rem line

5m rca lead
fuseholder and fuse (maybe pre installed on the cable)

a bag of terminals and bits

and depending on the kit 10m of speaker cable

depends, you may have only bought a amp powering kit Alex, which would only have those cables in.

Where did you get it from?

As flash says, check the contents sheet, if there is one.

it was only a bastarding amp powering kit But all sorted now, thanking you both for the help
