right i think i have jinxed my car. Anyway came home yesterday and looked at passanger side wheel and load of black gunk on the wheel when i looked behind the wheel the boot was still on the shaft end but where it goes on to the hub it had come off.

My question is do i need a complete new boot as there is no rip in it or can i just fix it back on with jubilee clip as i have a spare one in garage.

cant see any reason why you couldnt just clip it back on if the boot is fine

thats what i thought. i had a go yesterday but i mustn't of done it tight enough as its slipping back off. Gonna try a really strong cable tie as the other side is cable tied.

JUst use pincers on them. easy. Ive had enough bother with cable ties, especially with the plastic CV boots.
