How much power should I have on a x16xe with copy inlet manifold, protect exhaust manifold, full stainless system and an enclosed filter.
Just wondering as it was RR @ 120.2 without the filter and inlet
A remap will be the next thing after Christmas.

with that engine - velos inlet, dastek chip, K&N, Exhaust mine was 131bhp

i have the printouts at home of the RR of 120.2 bhp and 107.something lbf torque before the inlet so i would expect more than 115

All depends which rolling road though. take it to chippeduk and you will get 150bhp, take it to Noble or somewhere else with a good rep and you will get 125ish.
125 is usual from those mods. wont get any more than that without a remap

well a remap and maybe sport cams are on the cards.would bigger injectors say 20xe ones make any diffrence

no need for bigger injectors. standards are fine for 150+ bhp.
cams are a waste unless you get verniers to dial them in as well.

im gonna get it mapped and see how it goes from there because cams are a big expense i could sort of do without(baby onthe way in january).
is there any other tips for extracting more power from these engines at a low cost,tricks of the trade if you like.

why not keep the standard cams and get dbilas verniers before getting it mapped? that way you can map it precisely and gains can be had by adjusting cam timing even on standard cams.

so let me get this right even if you just get the verniers and keep standard cams if you then get it remapped you will see some gains. yes or no?
