Right i have a few unanswered questions that are bugging me!
- Is there a way to remove the region coding so I can play american DVD's?
- Can it play DVD's out of the box? or will it need that plug in DVD player?
- I have a external HDD full of music and films etc.... Is there anyway I can link that to the XBOX to play stuff through the xbox to my TV? Bear in mind all the stuff is neatly ordered into folders etc.
- How hard is it to copy games? If i got a HDD put into the Xbox could I rent a game and copy it to the HDD?
- How much are games?
- Is it wasted with a normall TV? do I NEED HD to play it?
Any cool features I should know about?
Really tempted to get one in Jan!!

Dont need anything else to play DVDs out the box.
You can copy games, but need to hack the 360, which is dodgy if u want to use it on Live! Dont think you can copy them to the HDD
Games are around £40
HD isnt essential, but what the 360 was built for

Beacuse at the moment I have a laptop which I use as a TV/DVD player lol
The main thing I will want to do is be able to connect my External HDD to the xbox and be able to browse through the folders and play .avi files I have etc. Will the xbox have DivX support etc?

how about this for a cool feature:
Playing on Xbox Live! with some mates (Project Gotham) and after a race going out to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee whilst still talking to them on the wireless headset
I thought it was cool anyway
Games look stunning on a normal TV as Topshot said, will look loads better on a HD set though

Just that my housemates will kick off at me if they cant download stuff properly....
Trust me I live with a right wanker, Drunkenfool knows about him
The ability to connect my external HDD is what will swing it for me TBH, Anyone got any pictures of it in action?
I just want to make sure that the xbox will have DivX installed so it will play the .avi files correctly

Looks like you can only play .WMV files, So I would have to convert everything I wanted to watch which could be a right pain in the arse, Unless there would be a way of streaming stuff from my computer to the Xbox via a usb lead or something?

you download a program onto your pc/laptop and this lets your stream content to your 360

Sounds good, I was under the impression that you had to have media center on your PC and that even then it would only play the files that are in the WMV format?
