Hi guys, already got a Corsa but it's a 1.4 SPi flair and dead slow So I fancy a change and quite like the idea of a GSi.
I got all the usual bodywork, rust spots etc checks but is there anything specific on the GSi I need to look for, probably specifically engine related stuff? My Flair has had loads done to it to make it sweet because I didn't look at it properly at the time.. ah well, but I've learnt a lot now and dont wanna make the mistake again.
Any help muchly appreciated

lol yea loads do seem have XE's!
another quick question... regarding ecotec vs. pre-ecotec models..
whats the REAL differences? is it literally the engine? and whats done to the ecotec to make it loose power over the earlier c16xe's?
thanks

ECO x16xe is identiable by it having a MAP sensor, and not a air flow meter like c16xes.
3/4bhp is the difference, hardly noticeable...

c16xe is the better one mate trust me, don't want non of that eco blap stuff lol
i have a gsi with the c16xe in it and it's mint, i have done subltle mods air filter straight through de-cat but the engine seems bomb proof, well for now it's done just under 90k and also a gsi has the body kit and abs

Nice
I am in a bit of a dilemma now because I want a GSi but noone seems to be prepared to pay what I want for my old car... and seeing as I've spent so much I might go the semi-sleeper route, my car is quite solid so I may stick a 1.6 c16xe into that, gonna do some research now plus I know my car and know what needs sorting (not much after spending over 1k on fixing bits lol)
