I dont know what oil is in the engine at the moment but its on minimum, is it best to drain the oil and fill up from empty?
Or just top it up with some new oil?

If your gonna drain it get a new oil filter too, it'll be better to do this, but you can just top it up!

It's not gonna cause any serious problems if you just top it up with different oil, its just better if you do change it though.

Change it with some fresh synth oil & a filter.

yup, wont really matter if you top it up with different oil. i think i have about 5 different grades of oil in the cavalier at the mo
