recently, every time im sat in traffic and i look in my interior and left hand mirror i can see what looks like white smoke coming from my exhaust! i know that in cold weather you often get a vapour that comes out which looks like white smoke which is normal but thing is it isnt cold and i dont see other cars in front giving out this white smoke! im scared incase its a problem with my engine but cant see why it would be though because its well looked after and always passes mot, etc!

the water was a slightly low when i last looked and has been topped up and hasnt gone down since! think it was because i hadnt checked it in a while though! not loosing oil though!

same happens with mine, i have a small oil leak don't no if that effects it always thought it was because the fumes are hotter coming out of a bigger exhaust

ye ive heard that its quite normal thing to happen when you have a stainless steel exhaust.

I asked about the de-cat because mines steams like a mofo in this cold weather.

Mine does the same, ruled it out to be my straight through exhaust too.

Mine does the same mate, except i burn alot of oil which has to be refilled often.

Checked your oil???

White smoke is normally a water problem. Oil is blue smoke. Keep an eye on the coolant level to see if any is being lost.
