Coming along nicely now and I won't see her now until she's finished next Saturday (with luck)

I was originally quoted £700 but I want the colourcoding done which is costing £200 on top.

It's an old friend of the family who's been into it for years, so he's doing me a deal. I'll be taking pics next week when before she leaves the booth (under the strips) so you can see the effort that has gone into it.....then you'll be able to judge the workmanship better

Well the car is in Gwent, just over the border....if you wanted I can get you a price? But I would recommend you looking at my car before you comment...she's gonna look showroom.

EDIT: Seems a bit of a way to travel to get a car sprayed mind you

Went up to see how things were coming along yesterday and took a couple of quick pics:

The new Depos

Nearside

Offside

Semi-smoothed hatch

Scuttle panel (roof rails done same)

She's not been polished up yet and few bits more to go back on. Had a bit of a disaster with the 'brand new OEM' Vauxhall front arches I bought.....the new threadless plastic nuts needed training before attempting to fit them since the rectangular bolts heads were spinning off in the clasps . So, tigersealed the bolts to the arches to go on later today. Bonnet, wipers & bumpers to go back on, fit new wheels and badgeless grille ......flattening off/polishing over and she'll be done

Might have to wait a little bit longer to get her back....looking at Monday/Tuesday now The drive is gonna feel soooo good

EDIT: The smoked side repeaters were way too dark....soaked them over with thinners to get the coating off and just so happened they were blue (see 2nd pic).....I might leave them on as opposed to smoked.

Black mate not sure of colour code but not cheap paint. Looks kind of 'flip' in the lights but it's just reflections mate. Once it's done, I'll take some proper pics (these were taken on my crappy 6600).

The car prolly isn't a million miles from you so you might see me driving about in it soon

It's in Caerwent...the sprayer is doing contract work for someone else elsewhere but this is his own booth.

My camera is only like 4MP though, might not show it off as well as I'd like but I'm happy so far.....under the lights yesterday (and considering she's not been flattened off either) she looked amazing. Well happy

As long as the job is good I couldn't give a toss where it's painted
