i know made the mistake yesterday, not got an ipod but my bro got a nano, i enthusiastically started dragging and dropping onto the ipod folder, 30 m,ins later after throwing loads on, went to listen to them, and they were no where to be seen. Bit shit really having to use itunes.
Another note i've cleared my itunes now, cheers.

Mine will probably last longer than the 8 hours. I listen to it at work, then charge it when I get home
I had an Archos before, which was crap. 6 hours for music, maybe 3 for a film if I was lucky.

No you are totally correct - you first need to get a degree in Brain Surgery before you drag and drop files on iTunes rather than using Explorer.
