Hi everyone,
My girlfriend change her car a few months back. Her previous corsa was lowered 40mm on PI shocks and was a bit bouncey and sat a tad too high, but wasn't too bad. After doing a bit of research on what everyone else has done, On her newer corsa i decided to go a bit lower and buy some 50mm Spax Springs and Koni Adjustables. Only problem is it rides like sh1t! Its soooo bumpy! Looking at the rear springs they are basically fully compressed!
Its got brand new 50mm Spax springs and koni adjustables! On every other car with this sort of set up i have never had any problems.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how did you get around it?
Thanks in advance

Bumpy or bouncy? My Corsa on a full kit was quite bumpy, price you pay for fitting uprated suspension. On good roads it was ideal.

I'd say more of a harsh bounce I've tried adjusting the Koni's to all positions but no joy!
I've owned and driven loads of modified cars and this has gotta ride near the worse end of the scale!
It seems like to get the right look and ride isn't going to be possible
I know its a small car and larger newer cars seem to be able to be lowered without such disasterous results, but my astra is lowered 50/70 and rides alot better!

The only realistic option i can think of is to get a custom set of rear springs made with less coils.

Cheers, yeah i do love the car, looking to upgrade to 19" VXR rims with shadow chrome finish for this year.
,
Also the car should be in Total Vauxhall early this year, i'm having the feature this month.

Surelt thats gonna raise the height of the car though, if thats the case i'll just get new springs which don't compress.
