Depends. E-Tyres will come out to you and charge you about £30 a tyre. ATS might say to you they don't do that, or they will do it for free and say give the fitter a £5er for a pint. Those are my experiences in that field.

no worries, just don't want to go get my pants pulled down! Pianted the wheels myself so paint job isn't going to be the strongest, i'm worried some muppet is going to wreck then with the machine, is it inevitable?!

Take them to an independant place, not a big chain, the big chains dont GAF about you complaining, but a little company will.

Place I used to work at, we charged £20 for 4, unless it was a Saturday, and the boss was out, when we'd charge a tenner, and pocket it.

If you make sure the place has a decent machine, not some shitty rusty thing, you'll be ok

It's the boss of my ATS who tells me to give the cash straight to the fitter so they can pocket it. Asked one of the lads who worked there once and they said they didn't do tyres that hadn't been bought there

Think mine need balancing...

The steering wheel has a slight vibration when I exceed 80mph...

I took 4 alloys to a local alloy refurbisher for fitting and they reversed 2 tyres, balanced 3 rims and fitted them all for £21

Spots round here a fiver a tyre to fit and balance. They might charge a couple of quid more if you have an old tyre on the rim that they will need to dispose of (some new environmental charge).
