What gets on my wick is idiots that pronounce nasty..'narsty' when they've lived in Derby all their lifes and only been to London on a school trip!

Yeah, i've heard that one aswell !! On another note, people think i've got a 'derbyshire' or 'derby' accent... I didn't think there even was one !!

The word for around here was "happnin" for quite some time. It meant how are you/hows things god that was annoying.

Yes, every morning when I get into work my team leader does not greet me by saying 'good morning' or whatever, he says 'what's happening Sam'...

scene is the name for thing thats a cool at the moment if i'm not mistaken. alot of the time it can be used in a derogatory manner. "oh, you're too scene" which means you're following the crowd too much.

i think he means "seen" used in the other way,as in "ahh seen" = "ahh right" .kinda used as an acknowledgement to something
