when did vauxhall stop making corsas in this colour??
seen one for sale in teh for sale thread and its 96??
why did they stop the Aurora Purple and Cabraic Blue....most gorgeous colours IMO!
as you know im lookin to buy a corsa, and would love one in Aurora Purple, and want it to be as new as possible!!
Also did they make it in Aurora Purple in a 1.6 sport...or only 1.4?

there is one aurora purple 1.6 with facelift bumper knocking about on the internet, for sale.
other than that, they should all be pre-facelift 1.4s

so there is a very limited amount of 1.6...rest are 1.4?

It was on Autotrader was an S plate 1.6
Mines Aurora purple, and its a 1996 model.

i love it....so want to find one...lol got 8 months....so praying a nice 1.6 comes up....if not il go for the 1.4
sure you all read my other thread abotu fuel differences - whether to buy a 1.4, or 1.6
so might have to go for 1.4 if thats the only one i can get in that colour!!

It came on late 1995 to late 1997 (N - P). Theres a few R regs knocking around i believe.
It ONLY came in the 1.4 16v Sport format. Any others you wee will have been converted. A bloke called Dan swapped his for a 1.6 engine.
Quite a rare colour. Took me 6 months and 2 other viewd cars before I found one in good condition.
6 odd years later, i've still got it..

They also put this paint on a limited amount of Mk3 astras, and also a very limited amount of V6 Calibras. Same years.

Mine was a 96 1.4, but as Daimo said I fitted a 1.6. Still my favourite colour.
