Totally differant style of car as Nismo has already said. Ones based ona rally car and renowned for excellant grip due to its 4wd, and is also turbo charged. The other is a hot hatch which uses Hondas V-Tec and naturally aspirated. The only thing they have in common is their displacement.

You are right Marc.
But in the end the Type R is slow and cost a lot of money if you want to go forward really fast.
To put 230-240 bhp in that motor is not cheap.

They're good cars.
Engine is great for everyday use and for track fun if you're into that. And the handling is good too, apart from the vague steering, which in my opinion is too light.
Nice quick cars and good value for money imo

a 172 isnt faster than a ctr, i had a little play against a slighlty modded 182, he didnt catch up with me but i couldnt get away from him.
Iv heard the new 192 will have will have LSD which will deffo be a threat to ctr's, vxr's, leons etc

you could get 230 out of a CTR qutie easily and prob for under a grand, new airbox possibly mugen being the best or spoon, cat back and vtec controller will see 230.
