Do you charge for the bills on top of the rent? Gas/Elec etc?
I'm new to this and forgot to ask this to the mortgage advisor this monring when i went for a appointment.
I'm looking at buying the flat next to mine on a buy to let basis and it seems fine and i can afford it.

I was lookin at houses to rent and one of them said they would pay for electric and water which I think, as a prospective tenant, is a damn good idea!
I wouldn't take the p*ss though and leave evrything on and waste water.

It's true. I lived in a place that included bills for a few months. I just used to leave everything switched on all the time and get my monies worth
