hmm , it probally isnt but i would have thought that the plane would stall that close as theres hardly no air flowing into the intakes.

One of my mates is in the RAF...he's a "loadie" on Chinooks used by ground troops. He's told me some right stories from Iraq etc, and he worked on the Chinooks that are used by the SAS etc. He once told me about Typhoons being able to be basically "parked" in the back of Hercs. That must be what he means!
