Oreight folks,

Got a night out in Notts planned for March, anybody know of any decent and cheapish Hotels in Nottingham, preferably in the city centre??

Oh, and there will be about 20 of us so we need somewhere that will let a big group of lads to stay.

rutland square hotel, cheap and right in the centre next to a castle and a few steps away from marks and spencer. was about a 5-10 min walk to the bars and clubs.

our room was a decent size aswell and easily the 3 star they claimed it was

personally think the gun crime of nottingham has been blown out of proportion, london and manchester have much worse gun crime. nottingham is a really nice city and you dont contanstly feel threatened like you do in london

It's not as bad as everyone makes out. It's a very good night, just stay away from the local trouble spots & you'll be fine

just stay out of the meadows and u'll be fine. Its the area west of trent bridge.

Durys inn is ok but no parking. can park at the gym over the road for £10.

travel inn express is ok.

britannia hotel. converted holiday inn. might be a dump.

Tas one of my friends worked as a chef in the hilton. He said he wouldnt drink in there never mind stay
