... ive got a 2.0 16v brake setup. i've just replaced the disks & pads now the offside disk looks like its only using the outer bit of the disk. the inner bit of the disk had surface rust on it?
anyone else had this problem

you sure you have loaded the caliper properlys and bled the system if you have only just fitted the 2.0 disc's in place of others.

check if the pads are in the carrier properly if its not sitting right then it wont use all the pad. i had to tap my pads in with a hammer as they were a bit of a tight fit. check theres nothing stuck behind the pad either.

mechanic did the work cause i couldn't be arsed in the cold weather.

sorted now... the pad wasn't sitting properly. feels much better to brake now.

make sure the spring clips are on the caliper too! if there not that causes them to pull off line
