Right cinema tonight, which one shall i see?
Been told smokin aces doesnt really have a plot, but its just a decent action film, guns, women, special effects. And Rocky, well its rocky, not a huge fan but apparently its worth seeing?

so smokin aces well worth the watch then?
Just that reviews seem to slate it left right, centre, BANNED, for having zero plot line, which kinda worries me....trailer looks alright though

Went to see Rocky on opening weekend - Cinema was 1/3rd full!

Rocky was alright there's only so much you can do with a Rocky film really. Much better way to finish the series than Rocky 5 which was poor tbh. A few good messages in there that it wouldn't do any harm to remember.

saw smokin aces in the end. Pretty good film, but i agree that the story line lacks quite a bit and it ends pretty poorly. But well worth watch

Went to see Rocky today. Was worth a watch, but fuck knows what was going on really. It wasn't what I was expecting, there was a lot of talking, the training montage was too short and the fight was only alright. Plus I was dissapointed with the fight result :lol Worth a watch and the charecters in it were really well cast actually.
Smoking Aces. The advert makes the film look shit. All I can see is a load of money being splashed on special effects to cover up the lack of a story. I wont even bother with it.

would agree to a certain extent, it's worth a viewing....certainly isn't the best ever, but it's on the same line as Sleven mixed with a bit of revolver - arty farty camera angles and shots, 70s style graphics and music, a dash of comedy and like you say lots of special effects and blood
