Why is it when they dont have the shoe you want in stock they say "we have that in size so and so want to try it?"

surly if i want to try a shoe in that size one that is two sizes bigger or smaller is not going to help

not as bad as what this bloke asked me once. it was in burtons and i went to the till with one of the shoes and he asked me if i wanted the other one. i nearly said nah your ok ill just buy the one fookin idiot.
