Don't "race" but, you should play with him for a little bit.
Hopefully that'll stop him from fannying around when you leave him behind. Assuming that it really is a quiksilver

Probably isn't a GTi but still, you don't want to make a tit out of yourself 
Get the XE put in and then find out confidently

yep deffo. still looking into the XE thingy. got my eye on one for a good price just trying to sort out the 'viewing' and transportation.
Anything i should look out for when purchasing a XE??
