Are these necessary for an XE conversion?

I have been loonking through a guide, and it talks about cutting in half, and lengethening a gear linkeage by 15mm. Sounds a bit council.

Can I set up the linkage using the standard Corsa one?

You can buy a quickshift from LMF, or cut and shut the standard one.

I don't think it works without cutting/welding, unless you don't use the gearbox spacer (or something like that)

Sounds Ghetto. Love it.

In the conversion guide, it talks about lenghtenng the linkage.

or you can run without the rear spacer, and not need to mod it or fit a quick shift...

you times you dont always need to run the spacer, engine sits slightly off, but it isn't notice-able, and doesn't affect how it drives

not sure, not done my conversion yet, but i know quite a few people of mig have used that method of doing it


or just modd the linkage like this, lot cheaper that an mtec quick shift

yeh i bought the mtech corsa xe one and its class, hardly feels like u change gear
