anyone got any funky ideas or experiance with making ducts or such to help cool brakes?
I've seen disc gaurds with ducting attached and hoses to vents in bumpers before.

Guy who sorts my car out has a touring GTE in his garage atm, it has simple plastic ducts from the front bumper to the brakes, it was supported with some plastic type holders and just pointed at the disk.

see the pic.

the lowest vents (in splitter) are the brake cooling ducts.
The then are channeled towards the brakes

I think maybe fabricating some GRP to mount pipes to and try to focus it more directly. I think most of the cold air is prob getting dispersed by the tyre etc. ESP when the 10" wide bad boys go on

Buy 2 large scoops (like the Ram effect jobbies)..

Cut out those lower spitter holes a bit more. to fit them. (check the sizes first )
Or

(Bin those standard metal vent things).
Attach some piping to the back of the feed, cable tie it up and locate the end of the hose below the front caliper (so it cools the disks just before it reaches the calipers, and also aids the caliper).

Bobs your uncle. TBH, your not going to get much better im afraid. Its what the BTCC cars use, had a good nose at it myself.

AK,
My old Renault had air scoops simular to the pic you posted, they attached to the lower arm and flowed air onto the disk for cooling..

nope but the positioning (bar in and out) will remain the same.
Depends if you want to mount them in the arch, or connect them to the brackets/suspension to make them move with the brakes.
TBH, quite hard to say not seeing a stripped Skline wing area (Side view on with front wheel removed).
