I'd love to go to NY, and a weekend would probably be best. Any longer and I'd never have enough cash to last me ..........shop, shop, shop till you drop

11 hours? Isn't that long! Weekends a bit short really mate, want to be going for 4-5 days. The must see sites are obvious really, Empire, Libity, central park, NY stadium, madison square. Loads to do!

i sopose it depends wich airline you went with but its not 11 hours.. more in between 7-9 hours. i went to Floridar and remember flying past New York and that was about 7 hours into the flight. My brother and his wife went to New York for the weekend last year to shop and do a bit of sight seing and said it was amazing. If i got chance and had plenty of money i would go

Just been doing the sums on this.....
Obv cheaper to sort the flights and hotel yourself, but it's still too expensive to do a weekend (for what you get)
FWIW....we sourced a REALLY nice marriot hotel next to Newark with some pretty cheap taxi's/shuttles into NYC...circa £30 for a room for two, a peanuts for the taxis/shuttles.
That cunt gordon brown charging £85 each in taxes has put me off though

You can adjust your flight times as well. I did it so I arrived mid day over there on the Friday and flew home late Monday evening to get more time. And as said its a 7-8 hour flight

11hr flight - where the fuck did you fly via
It took 6.5 hrs there and 5.5 hrs back
If I was booking for a weekend, I'd book the flights with Virgin/American Airlines and then book the hotel seperate. The Novotel on Broadway is cool and in the centre of everything
